New Airtel WiFi zones will be available in public places like airports, colleges, hospitals, corporate parks, retail outlets and more. However, it is worth noting that Airtel is currently allowing its prepaid customers to connect their phones in the Wi-Fi zone and currently it is not available for postpaid users. If you are in the Airtel WiFi area, you can easily use the My Airtel app to connect to Wi-Fi by tapping on the "My Wi-Fi" tile in your Airtel app. After accepting the permission, you will be able to browse the internet. Alternatively, you can also establish a connection through OFF and @Free Airtel can sign in to Wi-Fi network by connecting to an open SSID named Wi-Fi. On the sign in page, you can tap the "Airtel User" button to proceed with the OTP verification process.
The advantage of joining the Airtel WiFi Zone via My Airtel App will be that; You get an easy way to check your balance data. Airtel has also noted on its website that once you are out of this quota, you have to disconnect the Wi-Fi and use your mobile data for further internet use.
