Samsung gave us a glimpse of its foldable phone last year in November. And then at CES this year, it showcased the phone to a limited audience. Samsung was expected to launch its foldable phone - currently called Galaxy Fold - on February 20 alongside the Galaxy S10 series smartphones. But now, it looks like Samsung will indeed launch the Galaxy Fold on February 20 with the Galaxy S10.
Samsung has dropped a teaser video on Twitter with the caption "The future of mobile will unfold on February 20, 2019." The video doesn't divulge anything about this foldable phone, and only has text that reads "The Future Unfolds."
Samsung showed off its foldable phone in a promo video earlier this month that gave us an idea of what the phone might look like. This foldable phone will sport two displays - one that measures 4.58-inch, and the other that measures 7.3-inch.
The smaller display will sit on the outer cover of the phone and have an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 1960 x 480 pixels. The larger display, on the other hand, will have an aspect ratio of 4.2:3 along with a resolution of 2152 x 1536 pixels.
We are just nine days away from Samsung's Unpacked event, so we will hopefully know everything there is to know about this foldable phone at the event.
