Xiaomi Redmi Go is finally coming to India on March 19, as the company's India Head, Manu Kumar Jain had announced. Redmi Go is Xiaomi's first Android Go smartphone, and this is the best hardware in any Android Go phone ever launched. When the company did not announce Redmi Go at the Redmi Note 7 Pro Launch event, Xiaomi's fans were a little disappointed, but there was less than a month of RedmiGo's official launch date. Radmi Go is an interesting handset of Xiaomi. The price of Redmi 6A, which is a full-entry-level Android smartphone of the Chinese company, is priced at Rs 5,999. And there is no doubt that the price of Radmi Go will be aggressive in attracting smartphone buyers for the first time in India. If it launches for Rs 3,999, it will eat the market share of JioPhone 2, which is available in India for Rs 2,999.

This problem is not a good smartphone in less than 5,000 rupees in the Indian market right now. We have options like Nokia 1 and Lava and other Android phones of Micromax, but they have sub-identical hardware. However, this is not the case of Redmi Go because the phone is operated by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, which was used on Redmi 4A and 5A smartphones a few years ago. Some people might find that Xiaomi is offering chipset chips, but the sub-Rs 5,000 segment is not better available.

Speaking of specifications of Redmi Go, the phone has a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution. It has a 16: 9 display as opposed to the newly launched phone with 18: 9 or 19: 9 display. RedmiGo has hardware buttons to navigate through phones. Under the hood, we have Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, which is kept with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. To remember, Xiaomi used the same Snapdragon 425 chipset on both the Redmi 4A and Redmi 5A smartphones launched in 2017.

Redmi Go will have a single 8MP shooter in the rear side connected with the LED flash. In front, users will have the option of selfie clicking and video calling through a 5MP shooter. The phone has a 3000mAh battery. Radmi Go is an Android Go smartphone and runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) software out of the device box. However, at this time it is unknown whether Xiaomi has optimized the UI in MIUI. If Xiaomi providers do Android stock with Redmi Go, then it will attract more viewers from there.
