Reliance Jio GroupTalk: The guide from the app to set up your first conference call

Reliance Jio GroupTalk: The guide from the app to set up your first conference call

HIGHLIGHTS
  • The app is currently available in beta or testing phase
  • It offers 10 people conference calls, lecture modes, connections from landline and more
A few weeks ago, Reliance Jio released a new app under its portfolio, which was found to be a unique offering, which had its features allowed. Reliance Jio launches the Jio GroupTalk app, which is a unique platform for users to connect easily to conference calls. It is worth noting that at present, the Jio GroupTalk app is built in a test or beta phase and it is only kept for this purpose. However, if you want to test the app to see if it enhances the quality and ease of the conference call, you can do so without obstruction on Android and iOS. We decided to do this to see how Jio GroupTalk app comes to rent during the conference call.
How to get started with Jio GroupTalk?
Jio subscribers who want to try Reliance Jio GroupTalk should note that the app needs a phone with VoLTE to run and it will not work on Wi-Fi only phones. With VoLTE turned on to make the application work properly, you need to have a Jio SIM inside the device. Download the app on your device, sign in using the login credentials and allow the necessary permissions. By doing this, you will receive an OTP on your registered number to verify. Enter OTP, and you will now be ready to make a conference call on the app. Note that you must be on your Jio 4Ginternet connection to log into the application; otherwise, the app will display an error.
To make your first conference call on the Jio GroupTalk app, you can tap the Call New Conference Call button under the Recent tab. From here, you will be able to select the contacts you want to dial, and then you can press the call button at the bottom of the screen to start a conference call. Reliance Jio GroupTalk enables you to create a group first and then calls the group at a time, thus adding all members of the group to a swift call. In addition, you should keep in mind that the app currently allows adding up to ten contacts to a conference call.
Jio GroupTalk Details
It is also worth noting that the app notifies that it can be used to call users who are not using the Jio GroupTalk app, meaning that calls to connect non-Jio users It should also be useful. However, we found that the Jio GroupTalk app can not call non-Jio numbers. It is entirely possible that this was due to the testing phase of the app.
Apart from this, Reliance Jio's GroupTalk App Conference offers a unique feature called 'lecture mode' to the participants of the conference call. This mode mutes other participants except one who can then address one class as another. You can turn the lecture mode on the Reliance Geo Grapop App by pressing the Mute button at the top-right corner of the 'Group Management' screen.
Due to the beta phase of the app, there are a handful of features that are not currently working. Some of these include Schedule Group Call 'feature. Additionally, the app currently requires users to save contacts, before they can dial it. However, it is convenient for users to dial directly to the number.
Decision
Overall, it can easily be said that Reliance Geo Group is still an app of its kind in the market and it does what it should do. Also, because the app allows you to connect with more than ten people at one call at a time, including landline numbers, this is an effective Jio offer.
