Xiaomi Mi A3 in-display fingerprint scanner and 32MP selfie camera

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Xiaomi Mi A3 has a 32MP selfie camera
  • Xiaomi has not disclosed the date of the launch of the smartphone
Xiaomi has taken months to launch Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. Now a new report shows that Chinese smartphone makers can work on two more Android One devices. Both of these Android One devices will make Mi A2 and Mi A2 lights successfully. This means that Xiaomi's spotted Android One phone may be Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. Xiaomi has yet to confirm the details about Mi A3 and M A3 Lite, but it can launch the phone in the coming months. According to XDA Junior Member Franziska, Xiaomi has introduced the hardware testing of three new phones, two of which are most likely an Android One phone. Most Xiaomi phones come with optimized MIUI software on top of Android, but Android One is not a phone. Xiaomi introduced its Android One lineup almost two years ago with the launch of Mi A1. Last year, the company launched the Mi A2 series of phones and with the arrival of this new report, there are high probabilities that Xiaomi can soon unveil its third-generation Android One phone alias Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite.
Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lights in Works
All three smartphones have been seen with codename - "pyxis," "bamboo_sprout," and "cosmos_sprout". The report says that "Bamboo_sprout" and "cosmos_sprout" are most likely Xiaomi's Android One smartphone. One of the most interesting bits about these spotty phones is that they are being tested with "finger" or fingerprint on the display.
Xiaomi's Android One phones are mid-rangers. It is said that it is possible that Xiaomi with the next-generation Android One phone will eventually introduce fingerprint sensor technology in the mid-range segment. Only Xiaomi's flagships now come with fingerprint sensor technology such as Mi 9, Mi 9 Transparent Edition. It is highly probable that the next Xiaomi Android One phone will come with optical under-display fingerprint sensor, not ultrasonic sensor. This is because Xiaomi will have to use the OLED display to include an ultrasonic sensor, which will increase the cost of the phone, which Xiaomi may not be able to choose. With the in-display fingerprint scanner, the cheapest phone in India is now OPO K1 which costs 16,999 rupees.
Xiaomi Mi A3 can also have a 32MP selfie camera
It has been further informed in the report that all the three phones will come with 32MP front-facing camera like the VVV15 Pro launched last month. Hopefully, the Xiaomi phone will use 4-in-1 pixel binning technology for the 32MP front camera. So far, there is no information about these listed Xiaomi phones rear cameras. On the hardware front, Xiaomi's next-Jane Android One phone is expected to be powered by a slightly stronger chipset compared to the Mi A2 and Mi A2 lights, respectively, respectively, with Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 625 respectively. It is possible that Mi A3 will be powered by Snapdragon 675 or snapdragon 710 chipsets.
