Airtel Digital TV Offering Second TV Connection at NCF of Rs 80

More and more DTH operators are coming with their multi-TV policies as the days are passing. DTH providers, along with customers from the new mandate given by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, have also received information about pricing of multiple connections in a house. To remember, DTH providers first gave huge discounts to customers on their many connections because they had to pay content charges only to channel owners once regardless of the number of connections. However, this is not the case now. Since the content charges being paid by DTH operators have increased, so the people who will be hired will have to pay for multi-TV connections. In the last few days, D2H and Tata Sky have unveiled their multi-TV policy, today we will look at the details of multi-connection fees for Airtel Digital TV.

Airtel Digital TV Offering Second TV Connection at NCF of Rs 80

Pricing of Airtel Digital TV Multiple Connection

The important thing to note about the multi-tv connection after the TriSy mandate is that the discount given to the customers will be on the NCF only. Consumers will not get any discount on the respective channel owners who levy the levy. For example, Airtel Digital TV has announced that it will recover more than 80 rupees for the 100 SD channels in the form of Network SDAsiti Charge (NCF) for all the many connections being activated under a single account. An additional NCF of Rs 20 will be charged for subscribers for a later slot of 20 channels, which is ideal for standard first connections on 100 channels.

Difference Between Multi-TV Policies

Now that we have noted the cost of many connections of Airtel Digital TV, it is necessary to understand that there is some inherent difference between the interconnected connections between Airtel Digital TV and D2H policy. While Airtel is not allowing any 'mirroring' of digital TV channels, D2h gives it with the connection, but it can be beneficial for customers when they want to activate different channels on two connections. If D2h customers want to do this, they would like to pay more. On the other hand, the clear advantage for many connections of D2H is that the provider is charging a flat NCF fee of Rs.55 as a network fee, which means that no matter how many channels you add, you can be as NCF Will not pay more than Rs. 59.

On the other hand, if Airtel Digital TV subscribers add more than 100 channels, then they will pay Rs. 128 for the 80 rupees instead of Rs. 59 instead of NCF, which is the fixed price for many connections by Airtel Digital TV. In short, if you have many connections with Airtel Digital TV then closing additional channels will be a wise choice.
