Some other implications of the new Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) regarding pricing of channels include how customers paid for their additional TV connection. TRAI had no initial word about how the DTH provider or cable provider would charge these connections, the clarification came later from the regulator. This step is in contrast to what Tata Sky has announced for its customers.
